Drug Addiction Recovery?

so i’ve been addicted to meth for a year
and i’ve always had that kind of addictive personality.. i just feel the need to have my mind altered at any time.
i’ve been depressed for a while, i’m on antidepressants now though and feeling better, yet still though i feel i just have this urge to feel something different. and i’m not suicidal anymore but i still wouldn’t care if i were to die.
anyways, i know i need help, i hate what i’ve done to my family, and now that i’m an adult i know that i need to grow up and move on from this shit.
however, i wouldn’t have stopped yet if it weren’t for my family.
my parents found out i was doing meth and pushed me to do this outpatient program that i am now in.
i’m all for it you know, like i’m cooperative.. and i know i need to do what they say.
however there’s still that thought in my mind that once i’m out of the program and not being drug tested anymore, i’ll do things here and there.
i feel like no matter what, i’m going to do meth at least once more. (and yes trust me i know how that goes.)
but still i just FEEL that way.
i’m definitely not going to stop drinking or smoking weed.
and it’s not because i’m like oh whatever i just want to please my parents and then go and party again.
it’s just like…. i feel that way inside. like i need something. i need a lortab. i need a zanny. i need SOMETHING.
i hope someone understands what i’m saying, i know if you don’t then it’s going to sound really dumb. but truly i just don’t know what to do because i’m just not ready to be done with the drugs,
yet at the same time i know i HAVE to be.
it makes me feel selfish that i don’t want to stop doing something that’s hurting my family, but we can’t always control these things
and it’s like why am i not able to fully commit to this???
does it sound like i can really force myself to kick this now, or is this as uncontrollable as it feels?

Try going to a long term rehab. It’s for u not ur family. The only way u will ever stop is to want it for urself. I knw been there. Jus think of what u want.
