Everyone is talking about it and seem to have much enthusiasm in discussing what was done to him in detail. Its been on the front page of nearly every newspaper this week, complete with pictures.

Do you think people get some sort of perverted kick out of it like they’re reading a horror novel or something?

Sick fascination? Morbid fascination? Vicarious thrill? Yeah, that’s pretty much what it’s all about, just like watching some stupid teenager get her head chopped off by Jason in Friday the 13th.

People who have no life, are the ones who get caught up in this kind of thing, just like the grotesque fascination with the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey. It’s a symptom of pervasive idiocy in society, only that in nothing more.

And our evil government plays on this! What do we need? More police, broader police powers, as if the police can ever stop or prevent crimes like these. So we give up a few more rights and the police become a worse menace than all the criminals combined.

That also is a symptom of the pervasive idiocy of mankind.

But some people have a life and do not make much ado over nothing. It’s tragic, but nothing can be done about it esp. AFTER-THE-FACT.

So whether you keep up with the latest criminal outrage, or child abuse case, or the love life, or drug addiction or rehab scandal of Angelina Jolie or Tom Cruise or Pamela Anderson, the same kind of person gets caught up in it: the chronic losers and imbeciles who have no life.

If they had a life and meaningful employment, they’d be more concerned with their own life than somebody else’s.

I agree I mean they should just lock up the parents, throw away the key and sack the social workers who didn’t notice that he was being abused.
I guess for the media it’s something to write about, they should stop though because it’s awful to read about.
People must get a kick out of it, god knows why!

I don’t get why they like to read about it in every single paper like there is an extra detail they have missed. It’s to depressing to read now.
