Has Anyone Done the COCO KERATIN TREATMENT?

Question by Emmelin: Has anyone done the COCO KERATIN TREATMENT?
I bought the kit online that came with everything I needed to do the treatment. I even bought the straightener used at the salons to do it. Well let me tell you it took a LONG TIME to finish the treatment. I’m not really sure whether it worked or not though. After applying the keratin on the hair it was so hard to blow dry the hair because of how stiff the keratin made my hair but I finally managed to blow dry it. It was soo puffy and thick looking. So then I took the flat iron on 450 and straightened all the hair. It did get VERY striaght. My hair is like flat to my head, it looks good but i’m more concerned of the FEEL of my hair now. The treatment is supose to make my hair soft shiny and silky. Well my hair is only soft and silky near the top of my head but my ends are soo ruff and hard to comb through. MY HAIR IS NEVERRR LIKE THIS. I also have dried up white dust from the keratin drying in the hair. Is this normal?? I mean I think the dried up keratin is whats making my hair feel kind of hard. It feels like I straightened my hair with gel in it or something.

I did the treatment exactly as shown, didn’t skip any steps. Again the hair is extremely straight, but its not soft or silky. I just did it yesterday so I still have like 4 more days to go without washing it. I’m afraid the treatment wont work or something. Does anyone have experience using the coco keratin treatment??

Keratin are not approved by the FDA. Visit their website & search for it in their web. If you’re thinking about the Brazilian treatment, there’s a danger about using formaldehyde, a chemical that causes cancer. The FDA does not restrict the use of that chemical in cosmetics. Coco is another name brand.

You get Keratin from jello powder. Just go make some.

Relaxers are for permanent, but they are damaging to hair.
Go to the FDA website & type in permanent or relaxers so you understand what are the side effects.
