Have a Tumor on My Liver and It May Be Malignant, Where Is the Best Place to Go?

Question by Sharpen up: have a tumor on my liver and it may be malignant, where is the best place to go?
Can someone please recommend a liver tumor only specialist/surgeon to remove liver tumors in or near San Jose California? I haven’t had the biopsy done yet and am worried about seeding too. Is there a technique to perform a biopsy that won’t seed? I’m 41 years old and 195 pounds should that information be required.
Thank you so much!

First, find out if you do have cancer. Then your doctor will recommend and oncologist. Or you may chose to do your internet research to find an oncologist in your area. But first find out what is going on.

PS I am not qualified to talk about medical procedures. Your doctors are. If you don’t feel you are getting straight answers, ask for a different doctor. It is very important to get your questions answered. If you do see an oncologist you will find them the most compassionate medical team in the medical field. I wish you happy news. Cancer centers of american will answer some questions on line. I don’t know anything else about them except I hear they are expensive. I go to MD Anderson for treatments.
