How Long Does Hair Grow in 6 Months and How Can I Make It Grow Faster?
Question by Elin: How long does hair grow in 6 months and how can i make it grow faster?
Hi, some time this year (I cant remember when) i cut my hair to shoulder length. It was REALLY long and I loved it but i cut it short so it would grow out thicker (I have always had really thin hair). Now I am growing it back out again its a really weird in between length and I got a lead part in a play that is on the 22nd of June 2013 and they want my hair as long as it can be so I have about 6 months to grow long hair. I didn’t really care about making it thicker because it is growing out thicker. At the moment my hair is about 19 inches down from my scalp so not to long but not short. My hair is very healthy and has never been died/ is only straightened or curled rarely.
Please can you give me an idea of how long my hair will probably be by then and if there is any thing (cheap) that I can do to make it grow faster (I have heard that I should wear it up all the time, use special hair growth shampoo/conditioner etc.)

You can’t make your hair grow fast. Genetics is involved in what length our hair will grow. Trimming it does not make it grow longer, it just makes it look nice (no split or damaged ends). Sorry.
Hair typically grows 6 inches per year.
