Hi my older brother is on drugs, the way I found out was because he told my partner and that his addicted to the needle now I no that he has had a problem with heroin and is on methadone, well he was on methadone not sure what his on but the symptoms are like heroin (I don’t know what people look like on methadone thou). now im moving in with my brother (its both of our house that our mum left us) and it’s stressing me out because I dont know what to do I don’t want our house to be a freaking half way house and him having his friends shooting up and getting high in our house!! But like his not hiding it, he’ll go to the kitchen grab a spoon and go out of his way to show that his got a spoon and is going into his room and comes out 10-20 minutes later, I don’t know what to say to him, I’m so confused his been on this **** for a while but when our dad moved in for abit he got of it and started his own business and everything, everyone is giving up on him but I can’t I don’t know why but I just can’t please help it’s affecting me so much!

Can you enlist your dad’s help again? I suppose you can’t because you would have already thought of this. Any other relatives or even a church official who can help? Any doctors you can speak to? Get the name of an organisation that might help. Write to Dr Phil.

You can’t do anything for you brother if he doesn’t want help.
So, you have to talk to him and ask him if he wants to keep doing drugs
If he say He wants out then find help for him,For ex.: You dad, Church and Professionals.
If he say that is not your problem and that he wants to keep doing drugs you can’t
do anything because he is not thinking and there is no way you can make him think.
It’s really sad but true. I hope he wants help and that would be able to help him
