Why Does This Prayer Always Get Unanswered?

Question by John Ball: Why does this prayer always get unanswered?
I am a TRUE and proud Christian, thus I have prayed for almost a year now to God for Him to take the drug abuse and the addiction away from me, and yet, nothing happened. I litteraly get down on my knees for Him to help me overcome the sick drug addiction and the abuse away from me, and I also trust that God will DO it, but yet, nothing happens.
