The DEA and ATF have too much at stake if it were legal in the United States. Their strategy is “interdiction” or trying to stop the supply of drugs. The answer to the longest active war? (which the US has UNSUCCESSFULLY FOUGHT: “War on Drugs”) is to treat the addiction itself! Instead, they submit their budgets, and focus millions, billions of dollars on the actual substances. a one-dose cure…not in the bad ol’ u.s.a.. More like the u.s.e.. Only symptoms are treated here. Never causes. I just finished 5 years of methadone and feel worse than ever. But they got 25k from me so they could care less.
